Mining Tunnelling
Similar to mining we can built a tunnel in which the work can take place without affecting anything or anybody on the surface.
In the tunnels metal plates are inserted and supported with iron tunnel arches to stabilise the construction.
When the tunnel is finished it may be used for various utilities such as the laying of pipes and cables.
This method offers us possibilities when machine tunnlling is not possible because of cliff position or extremly tight curves.
